Aimee Buswell: Working at Eye Level

With her Q6 Edge® 2.0 Power Chair with iLevel®, Aimee Buswell has regained her independence, allowing her to be more successful in her job.

It’s just another day at work for Aimee Buswell as she stocks shelves and helps customers. Despite her physical limitations, Aimee has reached new heights in the workplace.

Born with cerebral palsy, Aimee cannot walk and uses the Q6 Edge® 2.0 Power Chair with iLevel® for mobility. Working for a major retailer keeps Aimee busy all day long. With iLevel technology, Aimee accomplishes more and faster than before. She loves having that independence.

“I’m able to reach things that I couldn’t before without help,” Aimee said.

Aimee also notices a difference in how people respond to her.

“I like iLevel because people seem to be more accepting and friendlier with me when I am at eye level with them,” Aimee said.

Aimee is proud of her accomplishments. She graduated from high school with honors and has worked for 16 years. She even earned a promotion!

When not working, Aimee keeps busy at her home in Mt. Airy, Maryland, with photography and crafts. She loves helping others, especially animals. Aimee donates to Guiding Eyes for the Blind every month. The organization provides blind or visually impaired people with trained guide dogs. Aimee is moved by organizations, like Guiding Eyes for the Blind, that help people with disabilities.

“What an inspiration for me!” Aimee said.
