Jay Smith: A Voice for the ALS Community

In 2014, Jay Smith was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS. His condition, however, hasn’t kept Jay from being a voice for the ALS community.

Following his ALS diagnosis, Jay founded Every 90 Minutes, an organization dedicated to providing support to ALS patients and finding a cure. Every 90 Minutes has developed partnerships with other organizations to develop ground-breaking technologies to help ALS patients.

In 2018, Suburban Life Magazine named Jay as one of the “Men of the Year” alongside big names such as actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
